AL-PRO prepares wind maps for a large portion of the globe at different resolutions and heights based on mesoscale and microscale modeling. Both modeling techniques require extensive time and computer resources. The computation of the 2,331 GWS® MESO maps covering the earth's land surface between 10°N and 65°N as well as 10°S and 65°S latitude will take approximately 2 years. For this reason, a production schedule was developed to identify the order in which GWS® MESO maps will be computed.

GWS® MESO Production Schedule
Start the map selection process by clicking on the button "Select a Meso Map" on the left hand side of this page to find out which map is ready or scheduled for computation. You can then select the single GWS® MESO map or maps and display the requested information.

GWS® MESO Priority Service
The GWS® MESO production schedule can be altered on request. If you identified a GWS® MESO map that has not been scheduled for computation, you can initiate the immediate preparation of your desired map using GWS® MESO Priority Service. Priority Service can be selected during the map purchase process and will cost an additional 700 Euro above the basic map price. The requested map will be ready approximately 3-4 weeks after your priority order. Furthermore you will be granted the exclusivity rights of the product for 4 weeks, during which time it will not be available for purchase via the GWS® shop.
