GWS® Viewer

The digital maps of the average wind velocity can be displayed with GWS® Viewer which is available for free as a download. GWS® Viewer enables the visualization of the maps in a large interactive map window with “zoom” and “pan” functionality. Nodes of interest can be located with the “find” functionality implemented in the software - input of geographic coordinates will center the map view on the selected node. The meteorological conditions of any desired node within the map can be shown with a click in the map window. The meteorological data of the nearest node will be displayed. The data (wind velocity and wind power density directions, wind speed and wind power density distribution and their mean values) will be shown in wind and energy roses and also in the diagrams located at the right hand side of the window.
